About the role
- Senior Consultant leading ENGIN utility analytics implementations and solution design. Translating asset management needs into scalable workflows for electric and gas utility clients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for ENGIN implementations, expansions, and complex configuration initiatives
- Translate client asset, reliability, cost, and planning challenges into ENGIN data models, workflows, and analytics configurations
- Design scalable solutions balancing client-specific needs with product standards and long-term maintainability
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients on asset analytics, planning methodologies, and ENGIN best practices
- Lead requirements discovery and validation, data ingestion, transformation and validation, ENGIN configuration, user training, and enablement
- Partner with client asset management, engineering, IT, and data teams to ensure successful deployment
- Ensure implementations meet agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards
- Work with client practitioners, analysts, and subject-matter experts to understand asset management and decision-making workflows
- Identify gaps between current workflows and desired future-state analytics
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, and working sessions
- Support the Client Success Manager during client discussions, escalations, and roadmap conversations
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams
- Identify recurring implementation patterns, friction points, and enhancement opportunities
- Provide structured client-usage feedback to product and engineering teams
- Contribute to reusable assets, implementation methodologies, and delivery standards
- Support pre-sales and expansion activities through technical discovery, solution scoping, effort estimation, and ENGIN demonstrations
- Participate in conferences, industry events, client demonstrations, global on-site client meetings, workshops, and internal corporate events
- Report to the Head of Delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Data Analytics, Operations Research, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience working with electric or gas utilities, infrastructure analytics, or enterprise asset management environments
- Hands-on experience with asset data (health, reliability, risk, cost, performance)
- Experience implementing or working with enterprise platforms such as EAM, GIS, analytics, or planning tools
- Strong analytical skills with comfort working in large, complex data sets
- Ability to translate ambiguous client problems into structured, implementable solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-moving environment
- High ownership mindset with a bias toward action and delivery
- Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery models
- Familiarity with modern data and cloud environments is valuable
- Must be located within one hour of a major international airport
- Must be located in Canada or the United States
