Proposal Specialist managing competitive RFP responses for Entuitive, a building design, construction, and operations firm.
Coordinating technical content, client requirements, deadlines, and proposal strategy in Calgary.
Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate proposal processes from start to finish for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, RFSOs, and related documents
Lead RFP reviews, identify red flags, create proposal checklists, and prepare client questions
Manage bid kick-offs and proposal planning sessions
Write and edit tailored narratives addressing client and project requirements
Participate in strategy discussions and develop win themes for high-profile proposals
Monitor proposal progress and follow up on internal deadlines
Draft, edit, assemble, and review proposal copy for compliance, accuracy, and content
Coordinate and participate in document review sessions
Develop, maintain, and coordinate proposal content, tools, and templates
Conduct client debriefs
Monitor marketing best practices, market and industry trends, companies, and competitors
Mentor junior staff as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Diploma or degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Communications, or English
Minimum 5 years of experience within a proposal or business development team required
Experience in the Architecture, Construction, or Engineering industry is an asset; other professional services experience considered
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign required
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
Experience preparing RFP/RFI responses and developing written content with technical subject matter experts
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Strong project management and time management skills
Ability to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities
Good judgment and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong client service and verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail
