About the role
- Senior Software Developer modernizing Euna's public-sector budgeting platform with C#, VB.NET, SQL Server, and AWS. Owning features end to end while introducing AI-assisted development.
Responsibilities
- Own features end to end, including requirements clarification, implementation, testing, code review, and post-release support
- Design and build maintainable features for the enterprise budgeting platform
- Use C#, VB.NET, .NET Framework, T-SQL/SQL Server, ASP.NET, Telerik UI, and jQuery
- Contribute to migration from a legacy AWS environment to Euna's internally provisioned, maintained, and monitored AWS environment
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and deliver well-tested, documented code
- Partner with product managers and designers on technical designs and estimates
- Mentor junior developers through code review and documentation
- Use AI coding assistants such as Claude Code while remaining accountable for shipped code
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Substantial hands-on experience in C#, VB.NET, and/or ASPX-based web applications
- Strong T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server experience, including schema design, query tuning, and stored procedures
- Solid command of the .NET Framework, including multi-threading
- Working proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Strong grounding in object-oriented and component-oriented design
- Security-in-depth mindset
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing work, and carry features from design through production
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to document technical decisions for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with enterprise SaaS products in regulated or public sector environments (nice to have)
- TypeScript or object-oriented JavaScript and PowerShell scripting (nice to have)
- Experience with SAP BusinessObjects Server v4.x, including SSO components written in Java (nice to have)
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks, prompt architecture, tool or MCP design, and multi-agent coordination (nice to have)
