Seeking experienced AI professionals for three roles in Toronto: Senior AI Engineer (Snowflake AI), Senior AI/Generative AI Engineer, and AI Governance Specialist.
About the role
- Software Engineer building document generation systems for personal injury law firms utilizing AI at EvenUp. Focusing on scalable backend systems and collaborating with product and design teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services powering EvenUp’s document generation platform.
- Own projects from technical design through production launch and ongoing iteration.
- Build scalable systems that leverage AI within document generation workflows.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Applied AI teams to deliver customer-facing features.
- Drive architectural decisions and contribute to the long-term evolution of the DocGen platform.
- Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of core backend services.
- Mentor teammates through technical discussions and thoughtful code reviews.
Requirements
- Strong software development experience, with hands-on expertise in Python or languages such as Go, Java, Node.js, or C++.
- Proven ability to design and ship scalable, production-grade systems, including APIs and distributed systems.
- Experience owning projects end-to-end in fast-paced, high-growth or startup environments.
- Bonus: Experience with AI-powered applications, legal tech, document generation systems or social impact–driven products.
