About the role

  • Directrice adjointe chez EXP, firme d’ingénierie, architecture et conception. Dirigeant l’équipe de Trois-Rivières, les projets de sols, matériaux et environnement, et le développement régional.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management of the Trois-Rivières office team and play a key role in its day-to-day activities
  • Assume responsibility for the Trois-Rivières office team, including professionals in materials testing, environmental services and geotechnical engineering
  • Develop, maintain and foster client relationships
  • Contribute to the growth of the firm as a market developer
  • Participate in the preparation of proposals and strategic decision-making
  • Take an active role in project delivery
  • Serve as a project manager
  • Engage, lead and mentor the team
  • Ensure project profitability through rigorous performance monitoring and resource optimization
  • Direct the resources assigned to various projects
  • Collaborate with EXP’s internal disciplines
  • Control the quality of the deliverables produced by the team
  • Planned transition to a Senior Director role within approximately two years, with overall responsibility for operations, team leadership and strategic development of the sector
  • Perform any other duties related to the position

Requirements

  • University degree in civil engineering, geology, environmental sciences or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant project management experience
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or the Ordre des géologues du Québec (OGQ)
  • Experience managing teams and supervising complex projects (an asset)
  • In-depth knowledge of local and national environmental standards and regulations (an asset)
  • Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets
  • Initiative and ability to solve complex problems
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
