About the role
- Project Manager developing aviation sustainability and resilience strategies for EXP’s engineering and consulting projects. Analyzing carbon, energy, and sustainability data while supporting client certifications and stakeholder deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted member of the regional Aviation team, providing tailored sustainability strategy, design, and solutions to clients
- Support sustainability strategy development and certification efforts
- Communicate with and engage stakeholders on client sustainability strategies, educating them on sustainability value and impacts
- Assist with renewable energy analysis, greenhouse gas inventories, embodied carbon LCA, and carbon-neutral building assessments
- Synthesize research findings, analyze information, develop conclusions, and draft recommendations for deliverables
- Optimize workflows with AI for improved productivity and responsible integration into client deliverables
- Collect, organize, trend, and analyze large datasets from departments and partners
- Produce high-quality, visually compelling presentations and deliverables
- Facilitate conversations among stakeholders to devise sustainability strategies
- Perform other duties as directed by management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, sustainability management, or a related field
- 7+ years of relevant sustainability project experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and present design information to clients
- Passion for sustainability in the built environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to execute with minimal oversight
- Experience optimizing workflows with AI for improved productivity and responsible integration into client deliverables considered essential
- Strong professional network, industry association participation, LinkedIn presence, and conference presentation experience considered an asset
