About the role
- Plastic Designer developing injection-molded snowmobile components for Expleo, a global engineering, technology, and consulting provider. Managing CAD designs and 2D/3D drawings in a hybrid Valcourt-based role.
Responsibilities
- Manage various design projects related to the development of plastic parts
- Participate in the design of plastic parts from the ideation stage through official release
- Develop CAD designs for injection-molded plastic trim/body components for snowmobiles
- Design, create, and modify 2D and 3D drawings of plastic parts
- Collaborate with various stakeholders and multidisciplinary colleagues
Requirements
- CATIA experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment within the mechanical, aerospace, or automotive industries
- Advanced knowledge of plastic part manufacturing processes
- Strong organizational skills and autonomy
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented and rigorous work habits
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
- 2–5 years of experience
- Advanced proficiency in French and English, spoken and written
