About the role
- Project Leader managing industrialization projects in aerospace at Expleo. Leading teams in complex technical challenges and contributing to digital transformation.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple industrial projects simultaneously by defining the delivery strategy (content, scope, resources, schedule, costs, risks, quality).
- Plan activities, coordinate the work of involved resources, manage budgets/expenses and act as the interface between stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of the industrial strategy and the manufacturing plan for both A220 FALs (Mirabel and Mobile).
- Prepare and present progress reports to steering committees, securing the necessary support at the appropriate management levels.
- Identify, evaluate and implement innovations to digitalize A220 FAL activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain close connections with central teams, benchmark against other aerospace programs and act as the A220 representative.
- Act as a change leader and proactively propose initiatives to shift the FAL ecosystem into an industrialized mode.
- Engage and keep the necessary resources and work teams involved and committed to successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a technical discipline in aerospace.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including relevant experience in a final assembly line (FAL) environment.
- Specialist in industrial solutions with strong project management skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of leadership with proven coaching/training abilities, and assertiveness to influence and challenge the status quo.
- Ability to work with senior management as well as work teams in a diplomatic and resilient manner.
- Proactive, highly autonomous, well organized and able to set priorities to operate in a high-pressure environment subject to frequent change.
- Advanced level (spoken and written) in French and English to be an excellent communicator at all levels.
