About the role
- Project Leader managing industrial projects for Expleo, focusing on A220 aircraft production in Mirabel, QC. Leading teams and strategies for successful project execution and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple industrial projects simultaneously by defining project execution strategy (scope, deliverables, resources, timeline, costs, risks, quality).
- Plan activities, coordinate the work of involved resources, manage budgets/expenses and act as an interface between stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of the industrial strategy and manufacturing plan for the two A220 final assembly lines (FALs) in Mirabel and Mobile.
- Prepare and present progress reports to steering committees, securing necessary executive-level support.
- Identify, evaluate and implement innovations to digitalize A220 FAL activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain close relationships with central teams, perform benchmarking with other aerospace programs and represent A220 issues.
- Act as a change leader and proactively propose solutions to put the FAL ecosystem into an industrialized mode.
- Engage and keep the resources and work teams involved and motivated to ensure project completion.
Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a technical field related to aerospace.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including relevant experience in a final assembly line (FAL) setting.
- Specialist in industrial solutions demonstrating strong project management skills.
- Demonstrate high-level leadership with proven coaching/training abilities and assertiveness to influence and challenge the status quo.
- Ability to work with senior management as well as work teams, with diplomacy and resilience.
- Proactive, highly autonomous, organized and able to set priorities to perform in a high-pressure, frequently changing environment.
- Advanced level (oral and written) in French and English to be an effective communicator at all levels.
