About the role

  • Brand Program Manager optimizing roadmaps, intake, governance, and delivery for EDC’s brand strategy and creative services. Supporting Canadian businesses through export finance and global trade expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Translate enterprise, marketing, and brand priorities into quarterly roadmaps and actionable backlogs
  • Maintain roadmaps based on shifting priorities, timelines, team capacity, and stakeholder expectations
  • Monitor delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements
  • Own end-to-end intake and prioritization processes
  • Triage requests, clarify stakeholder needs, determine scope and ownership, and set delivery expectations
  • Recommend sequencing, trade-offs, and escalations to manage demand and capacity constraints
  • Manage the Brand Manager inbox and brand enablement requests
  • Improve incoming work through briefing requirements, intake documentation, and acceptance criteria
  • Facilitate agile practices including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and team huddles
  • Support workload management and resolve delivery blockers
  • Improve processes, tools, and operating practices using feedback and delivery data
  • Support quality assurance reviews for brand standards, project objectives, accessibility, and stakeholder expectations
  • Maintain and enhance governance frameworks, service standards, workflows, and escalation paths
  • Address recurring quality and process issues through guidance, templates, and tools
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, role clarity, and consistent ways of working
  • Support onboarding on workflows, tools, expectations, and delivery practices
  • Maintain visibility into priorities, decisions, and deliverables
  • Support strategic capacity planning and prioritization decisions
  • Coordinate team initiatives and operational activities
  • Track and report Brand Hub engagement, Brand Ambassador communications performance, and delivery metrics

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, business administration, design management, project management, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in brand, marketing, communications, creative services, project/program management, or a related discipline
  • Experience coordinating or managing cross-functional marketing, brand, communications, or creative initiatives from intake through delivery
  • Experience managing priorities, timelines, risks, dependencies, stakeholder expectations, and competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with creative, design, digital, communications, or agency teams
  • Ability to support briefing, review, feedback, and quality assurance processes
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at different levels
  • Ability to synthesize information and support decision making
  • Experience in a brand centre of excellence, creative services, marketing operations, agency, or similar environment
  • Experience developing or improving intake processes, governance frameworks, service standards, and ways of working
  • Experience supporting brand governance, accessibility standards, design systems, digital asset management, or brand enablement initiatives
  • Experience applying Agile, Kanban, or similar delivery practices and tools
  • Experience tracking performance metrics and using insights to support planning and continuous improvement
  • Strong understanding of brand management principles, including governance, visual identity, messaging consistency, creative quality, and brand adoption
  • Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)
  • Able to work legally in Canada at the time of application; Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents preferred
  • Must meet requisite government security screening requirements
