Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain functional, integration, end-to-end, and customer-focused test suites
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation solutions using Python and Robot Framework
- Develop reusable automation libraries, frameworks, and test components
- Automate testing for APIs, web applications, integrations, backend services, and end-to-end workflows
- Integrate automated testing into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Define and implement automation strategies based on risk, business value, and maintainability
- Improve the reliability, coverage, efficiency, and execution speed of automation
- Lead quality engineering practices throughout the agentic and AI-assisted software development lifecycle
- Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate test design, script development, issue analysis, and reporting
- Validate AI-generated test scenarios, automation code, and recommendations before production use
- Develop testing approaches for AI-based applications, agents, and autonomous workflows
- Collaborate with architects, developers, product teams, and stakeholders to build quality into the software development lifecycle from the outset
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and standards for automation, quality engineering, and AI-assisted testing practices
- Perform coding, design, build, support, and operations for the Group’s platform
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in test automation, quality engineering, software test development, or software development, implementing enterprise-scale solutions
- At least 2 years of experience using AI-assisted engineering tools, such as GitHub Copilot
- At least 2 years of experience applying modern practices that integrate AI into the software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of cloud platforms
- Experience integrating intelligent automation into quality engineering and continuous integration and continuous delivery processes
- Ability to work legally in Canada at the time of application (preference will be given to Canadian citizens or permanent residents)
- Candidates must meet government security requirements
