Responsibilities
- Lead management systems analysis activities for the development of an investment management platform, including troubleshooting, reporting, and team alignment
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal users and technical teams
- Organize alignment meetings and contribute to requirements gathering, solution development, and testing
- Capture organizational needs and communicate them clearly
- Participate in establishing team objectives and desired outcomes
- Support testing of enhancements and coordinate issue resolution with vendors
- Collaborate with business areas to define and implement testing strategies
- Define and validate internal requirements for software enhancements
- Guide development teams to ensure solutions meet internal expectations and applicable standards
- Produce clear, comprehensive, usable documentation tailored to the context
- Resolve issues related to financial transactions and plan continuous improvements to reporting
- Escalate issues to vendors and support product owners in managing cross-functional expectations
- Analyze data consistency challenges affecting investment data and reporting
- Collaborate with IT architects to support strategic planning and roadmap development
- Help functional units understand root causes and recommend viable solutions
- Adapt and improve Agile practices and management systems analysis methods
- Promote best practices in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and solution implementation
- Collaborate with the Financing and Investment Team, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and external contacts
- Anticipate, prepare for, and manage change effectively
- Support internal subject matter experts with user acceptance testing and organizational readiness activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, computer science, engineering, or a related field
- At least seven years of experience in management systems analysis
- At least five years of experience writing user stories and managing requirements in Azure DevOps or a similar tool
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology, technical integrations, project life cycles, and large-scale program implementation
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements
- Experience working with financial systems, lending or underwriting applications, and legacy platform modernization
- Strong understanding of financial services (banking, financing, investment, and risk management) and enterprise reporting processes
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a complex environment with limited documentation
- Ability to organize workshops and create visual materials (e.g., Miro, Mural)
- Knowledge of Power BI and financial platforms such as eFront
- Management systems analysis credentials (CBAP, Agile analysis, graduate certificate) and bilingualism are assets
- Preference will be given to candidates legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application
