About the role
- Financial strategy specialist transforming complex data into executive insights for FCC, Canada’s agricultural financing Crown corporation. Developing reporting, models and recommendations to improve business performance.
Responsibilities
- Run reporting, financial models and analytical tools that support business performance and decision-making
- Develop and deliver executive and corporate financial reporting, including quarterly performance reporting and segmentation analysis
- Analyze financial and business information to identify trends, risks, opportunities and actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve reporting, performance measurement and decision-support capabilities
- Leverage Python and automation technologies to enhance reporting, analytics and process efficiency
- Work with business units, leadership and data teams to translate complex financial and business data into actionable insights
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
- Minimum four years of experience in financial planning and analysis, financial strategy, performance management or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance measurement
- Experience researching, analyzing and interpreting financial and business information to support strategic decision-making
- Experience developing financial models, forecasts and business case analyses
- Proficiency with financial reporting, data analysis and visualization tools
- English language required
