About the role

  • Employee Experience Lead guiding Workday ERP communications, training, and change adoption at Canada’s municipal-government federation. Improving employee systems, processes, and lifecycle experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead change activities for HR system/process rollouts, including ERP and HRIS implementations
  • Collaborate with the ERP project team and stakeholders to align People & Culture communications and change initiatives with project goals
  • Conduct impact assessments and readiness surveys
  • Track adoption metrics and follow up with teams to close gaps
  • Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions
  • Create and maintain change agent networks across departments
  • Develop and manage post-implementation support plans
  • Develop and distribute employee-facing materials such as newsletters, FAQs, and intranet updates
  • Maintain People & Culture content libraries and communications calendar
  • Coach People Leaders on communicating changes to their teams
  • Design and deliver HRIS/ERP and process training materials
  • Facilitate live and virtual training sessions and manage attendance and follow-up
  • Maintain job aids, quick reference guides, and onboarding content
  • Develop microlearning modules and self-serve resources
  • Track training completion rates and generate reports
  • Maintain project plans and task trackers
  • Coordinate meetings and follow up on action items
  • Support testing and rollout of People & Culture systems and tools
  • Troubleshoot issues with IT, People & Culture, and Finance
  • Document lessons learned and contribute to post-project reviews
  • Assist with vendor coordination for external training or system support
  • Identify and improve key employee-lifecycle touchpoints
  • Monitor feedback channels and escalate recurring issues
  • Recommend People & Culture process enhancements based on employee insights
  • Conduct employee journey mapping exercises
  • Support engagement surveys and analyze results

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years in P&C/HR, change management, training, communications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Development, or combination of education and experience
  • Experience using and supporting HRIS system rollouts like Workday implementations and post-go live and process changes
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) is an asset
  • Adult learning or instructional design certification is a plus
  • Experience HRIS system rollouts like Workday and process changes
  • Strong writing, facilitation, and coordination skills
  • Experience with tools like Asana, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is a plus
  • Required to live within 80kms of downtown Ottawa, unless otherwise specified
  • Authorized to work in Canada
