About the role
- Alberta-licensed Nurse Practitioner delivering asynchronous virtual care through Felix, a Canadian digital healthcare company. Supporting online treatment and ongoing care across lifestyle health categories.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality online care to patients addressing lifestyle health concerns
- Assess patients and support online treatment, prescription delivery, and ongoing care
- Deliver virtual healthcare across health categories including weight loss, birth control, menopause, erectile dysfunction, and acne
- Use Felix’s HCP platform to provide asynchronous virtual health services
- Log in every 24–48 hours to address patient needs
- Collaborate with healthcare practitioners and access engineering and clinical support
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable professional codes and PHIPA privacy regulations
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner licensed in Alberta
- Preference for NPs with additional licensing
- 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience
- Physically located in Alberta
- Alberta practitioner ID required for ordering laboratory testing
- Available for a minimum of 8 hours of scheduled time per week, plus logging in every 24–48 hours to address patient needs
- Member in good standing of the relevant College(s)
- Maintain eligibility and willingness to be licensed in other provinces
- Maintain confidentiality and follow the governing provincial/territorial code of conduct
- Experience in telemedicine
- Additional experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, erectile dysfunction, and birth control care is an asset
- Proficient understanding of technology, EMRs, and remote work
- Willingness to become incorporated, as required by the role
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Able to satisfy the mandatory minimum commitment of 20–40 hours per week
