About the role

  • QA Analyst protecting Fellow’s privacy-focused AI meeting assistant across web, desktop, and mobile. Designing holistic tests, maintaining regression automation, and supporting release decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Join projects from inception through deployment, contributing feedback on scope, functionality, design, risk, and testability
  • Create and maintain detailed test plans for Web, Desktop, and Mobile
  • Cover critical workflows, integrations, and edge cases
  • Perform exploratory testing beyond documented cases
  • Own and maintain automated end-to-end regression tests
  • Review regression coverage and add tests for new risks and escaped defects
  • Update outdated scenarios and remove tests that no longer provide value
  • Investigate automated test failures and distinguish product defects from test instability
  • Address flaky tests and false positives
  • Monitor scheduled regression and smoke suites and communicate failures clearly
  • Collaborate with Engineering to improve testability and determine appropriate test coverage
  • Verify tickets, run targeted manual and automated tests, assess outstanding risk, and provide release approval
  • Perform post-deployment checks and help investigate customer-reported issues
  • Use AI agents to draft and refine test plans, identify edge cases, maintain automated tests, investigate failures, and improve release workflows while validating output
  • Share knowledge and improve QA practices, tooling, and AI-native workflows

Requirements

  • 4+ years of manual QA experience with web, desktop, and/or mobile applications
  • Experience creating, executing, debugging, and maintaining automated end-to-end regression tests
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to assess customer impact
  • Strong prioritization and time-management skills
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to help teammates succeed
  • Patience and sound judgment when requirements are unclear, incomplete, or changing
  • Excitement about startup culture and comfort with quickly changing priorities
  • Confidence to raise concerns, ask clarifying questions, and advocate for quality
  • Hands-on use of AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar in real QA work, with judgment to verify output
  • Familiarity with browser developer tools, including element inspector, console, and network inspector
  • Ability to distinguish between a defect, UX feedback, and a feature request
  • Strong knowledge of QA workflows, ticket-management tools such as Linear, and deployment activities
  • Availability for occasional late deployments when needed
