Responsibilities
Perform complex engineering assignments involving design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, specifications, field tasks, and resolution of field problems
Ensure compliance with government, organizational, and customer engineering standards
Independently evaluate, select, and apply technical techniques, procedures, and criteria
Develop new or adapted products, methods, systems, or models that provide value-added customer solutions
Research and assess best practices and propose methods and improvements
Work on special projects as directed
Support the product life cycle and replacement of current Framatome technologies through improved technical solutions
Solve technical issues identified by project management, business line management, or customers to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd.
Perform other related duties and tasks as required
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) in Engineering
Minimum of 6 years of related experience
Professional Engineering License (P. Eng.)
Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, and criteria
Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data
Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships and work collaboratively within a team environment
Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills
Leadership characteristics
Questioning attitude and self-checking practices
Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role
