About the role
- Senior IAM Reliability Engineer securing enterprise identity operations at Genesys, an AI-powered customer experience platform. Improving authentication reliability, incident response, observability, and automated remediation.
Responsibilities
- Drive reliability and resilience of enterprise identity services for a global workforce
- Own end-to-end resolution of IAM-related incidents and minimize business disruption
- Monitor and analyze observability and AIOps signals
- Correlate events across IAM platforms and dependent systems to identify root causes
- Refine alert thresholds, suppression logic, and detection rules
- Validate and enhance automated remediation workflows
- Partner with cloud, network, security, and endpoint teams
- Ensure identity event data accuracy and integrity
- Contribute to post-incident analysis and scalable fixes
- Resolve and optimize identity provisioning and deprovisioning workflows
- Ensure IAM monitoring and operational requirements are met for new application onboarding
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in IAM operations, identity platforms, or enterprise IT operations
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong expertise in authentication, authorization, SSO, provisioning, and identity lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience administering and supporting Okta in enterprise environments
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Ability to troubleshoot SSO, provisioning workflows, authentication failures, and certificate issues
- Understanding of incident management, event correlation, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Experience working across cross-functional teams in complex operational environments
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Participation in a shared, rotational on-call schedule is required
- Preferred: scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell or REST APIs
- Preferred: observability platforms, AIOps tools, and event management systems
- Preferred: automation frameworks and self-healing system design
- Preferred: identity integrations across SaaS platforms and cloud environments
