Senior Data Analyst for Genetec's Customer Experience team, providing data-driven insights for decision-making. Expertise in Power BI and data analysis required for impactful reporting.
Responsibilities
Gather requirements for analyses, reports and presentations from various stakeholders across the CX organization and translate them into technical specifications
Design and deliver reports, key performance indicators (KPIs) and visualizations, ensuring data integrity across multiple sources
Extract, compile and aggregate data from multiple sources and present it in a simple, intuitive format for use in reports and presentations
Consolidate requirements for recurring reports to enable automation in Power BI and participate in testing once developed
Create and execute test plans, troubleshoot issues and continuously improve BI reports and dashboards
Collaborate with stakeholders and internal technical teams (e.g., Digital Information) to ensure timely delivery of data models, clear communication and removal of blockers
Contribute to the production of ad hoc and one-off reports based on data from different sources
Work cross-functionally to ensure report accuracy
Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on upcoming deliverables
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance or Business Administration with training in operational analytics, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
At least 3 years of experience in reporting or analytics
Excellent analytical and presentation skills
Strong organizational skills
Good time management and prioritization abilities

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written (this role requires interaction with international colleagues and clients)
Advanced skills in Power BI Desktop and intermediate skills in Power BI Service
Deep knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
Experience extracting and manipulating data using SQL queries, the CRM Advanced Find feature and existing Power BI reports
Good understanding of database and data storage concepts
Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Familiarity with CRM and Finance & Operations systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365) is an asset
