About the role

  • Key Account Manager growing strategic channel partnerships for Canada's on-demand healthcare platform. Driving renewals, expansion, executive reviews and retention across high-value accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Maple's highest-value, most complex accounts, building director-, VP- and C-suite-level relationships
  • Develop and own formal multi-year account plans, joint success metrics, risk and mitigation plans, and growth roadmaps
  • Lead Executive Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews with senior stakeholders to communicate ROI, align strategy and secure sponsorship
  • Monitor clients' business strategies, market pressures and internal shifts and proactively adjust Maple's approach
  • Own renewal strategy from risk detection and stakeholder mapping through competitive positioning, negotiation and forecasting
  • Identify and shape expansion opportunities across products, populations, geographies and integrations
  • Translate complex account data into narratives and recommendations for senior stakeholders and influence roadmap and operational priorities
  • Lead cross-functional account teams across Product, Clinical Operations and Marketing
  • Build stakeholder relationships, draft account plans and identify risks and opportunities during the first 90 days
  • Independently own multi-year account plans, lead executive reviews, contribute to net revenue retention and expansion targets, establish risk systems and create account-management playbooks over 12–18 months

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of experience in Customer Success, Sales, Account Management or a related client-facing role
  • 3+ years owning enterprise or key accounts in SaaS, health tech, benefits or an adjacent industry
  • Proven track record driving renewals and expansion and hitting or exceeding portfolio-level net revenue retention or growth targets
  • Experience leading executive-level engagements, including Quarterly and Executive Business Reviews, roadmap presentations and contract negotiations
  • Ability to build and execute strategic account plans while coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working across performance, financial and operational data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable from operational stakeholders to C-suite executives
  • Systems-thinking mindset connecting client strategy, member populations, internal operations and product capabilities
  • Ownership mentality at scale, including disciplined trade-offs and documentation and succession practices
  • Employment subject to a criminal record check (EPIC) and identity verification; additional employment or education verification may be conducted depending on role requirements
