About the role

  • Site Works Coordinator supporting GE Vernova’s electrical contractor sourcing and supply chain for decarbonized energy projects. Managing bids, proposals, negotiations, compliance, and contractor onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Site Works Commodity Manager (Electrical RCM)
  • Support commercial bids by aligning commodity strategy and completing contractor evaluation and selection during the tender stage
  • Create, review, and distribute RFQ packages to contractors
  • Review and analyze electrical/mechanical contractor proposal packages
  • Schedule project-specific weekly/monthly contractor status calls and record detailed meeting minutes
  • Provide project status updates to the Site Works Commodity Manager
  • Collaborate with internal teams to expedite review and validation of RFIs and contractor packages
  • Collaborate with GE contract managers to review and refine contractor terms and conditions
  • Negotiate contractor proposal pricing, NDAs/MNDAs, master service agreements, and project-specific civil and electrical agreements
  • Drive KPIs including Deflation, DTP, Quality, Compliance, and OTD
  • Source and develop certified minority-, veteran-, women-owned, and small-business suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with GE sourcing policies and procedures
  • Conduct occasional travel for on-site contractor audits
  • Support contractor onboarding
  • Organize and maintain project site files, documents, and electronic document databases

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in electrical engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a major construction project environment
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pre-construction and/or construction estimating
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally 10% of the time
  • Must comply with relevant company travel and tax policies
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and Canada
  • Project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver results on time and within budget
