Warehouse associates completing tasks to support operations in a distribution center. Safely handling products and maintaining compliance with safety standards while working collaboratively with the team.
Responsibilities
Safely and accurately complete warehouse tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, sorting, labeling, putaway, replenishing, auditing, picking and packing products using industrial machines.
Operate wrist-worn or hand-held scanning equipment to accurately fulfill customer orders for shipping.
Resolve exceptions in order fulfillment due to stock discrepancies, order processing errors, damaged products, carrier changes, etc.
Follow lock out and tag out procedures for powered industrial equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and hazardous material requirements.
Work collaboratively and assist other teams to meet safety, quality, productivity, behaviour, attendance, and overtime requirements.
Perform other tasks as directed by leadership, including all functions of a DCA II.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of work experience in a fast-paced and physically active job
Experience with industrial machines, like order picker, forklift, pallet jack, etc.
Ability to speak and understand written and spoken English
Comfort working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working on or around moving equipment and elevated stations
You’ll need to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder heights.
