About the role
- Head of Product leading strategy, design, and delivery for Great Question’s AI customer research platform. Managing PM and design teams while partnering with founders and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Own product and design end-to-end
- Lead a senior team of two PMs and a design lead
- Set product strategy and make prioritization decisions about what to build and what not to build
- Drive predictable, high-quality, increasingly rapid delivery
- Build AI into the product and team workflows
- Coach the product and design team, raise the craft bar, and grow the team
- Establish decision rights with the founding team
- Maintain a clear line to go-to-market on product releases and timing
- Stay close to customers and use customer signal to guide decisions
- Partner with engineering on technical debt, velocity, and implementation approaches
- Read the codebase, build tooling, and ship small fixes when appropriate
- Challenge founder assumptions, make recommendations, and commit to decisions
- Lead product at a growth-stage software company
Requirements
- Experienced, hands-on Head of Product
- Experience owning product and design end-to-end
- Experience leading product at a growth-stage software company
- Customer research, data, or developer-tools experience is a bonus
- AI-native approach to thinking, building, and operating
- Ability to use AI where it creates leverage and recognize noise or risk
- Strong product prioritization and decision-making skills
- Customer-focused approach with a system for evaluating customer signal
- Technical fluency: read codebases, build tooling, ship small fixes, and assess technical debt versus velocity
- Ability to collaborate credibly with engineering teams on alternative approaches
- Clear written communication across time zones
- Ability to challenge and partner with founders
- Required to answer how you currently use AI tools, which tools you have used, and how they changed your workflow
