Responsibilities
Own the commercial performance and strategic development of Henry Schein Canada's dental CAD/CAM product category
Develop and execute annual category business plans aligned with growth, gross profit and market-share objectives
Maintain product architecture and positioning across vendor lines
Lead new product introductions, product transitions, discontinuations and commercialization plans
Manage commercial relationships with CAD/CAM manufacturers and strategic vendor partners
Develop joint vendor business plans and lead regular vendor business reviews
Coordinate vendor participation in sales meetings, customer events, trade shows and education programs
Identify, develop and advance CAD/CAM opportunities with sales and specialist teams
Implement, manage and improve the virtual training program, including lead intake, prioritization and allocation
Deliver virtual CAD/CAM training sessions and maintain training curriculum and processes
Track training activity, customer participation, outcomes and follow-up requirements
Establish customer hand-offs from equipment sale and installation through onboarding, training, education and workflow support
Create product positioning, competitive comparisons, value propositions, selling tools and commercial guidance
Coordinate resources for strategic or complex customer opportunities
Provide product and commercial education to ESS, CCS and other sales teams
Gather field and training feedback and translate insights into category, training and vendor actions
Develop national and regional CAD/CAM campaigns, promotional programs, launches, sales contests, bundles and events
Measure campaign and event effectiveness, lead generation, conversion, revenue, gross profit and ROI
Develop category dashboards and KPIs covering sales, gross profit, market performance, vendor performance, pipeline and program effectiveness
Manage co-op marketing funds, vendor rebate programs and category-related budgets
Maintain current product, pricing, promotional and vendor program information
Requirements
Experience or knowledge in dental CAD/CAM and digital laboratory workflows, including intraoral scanning, design, milling, printing, related software, accessories and consumables
Experience in product category management, vendor relations, business development, sales enablement, customer training or marketing programs
Ability to develop category business plans and manage sales, gross profit, market share, pricing, inventory and pipeline objectives
Ability to build and manage strategic manufacturer and vendor relationships
Ability to develop joint business plans, negotiate and administer vendor programs, rebates, co-op marketing funds and commercial agreements
Ability to coordinate product launches, transitions, discontinuations, vendor reviews, events and education programs
Ability to deliver virtual CAD/CAM training and develop training curriculum, processes, tools and best practices
Ability to create product positioning, competitive comparisons, value propositions and selling tools
Ability to coordinate sales, clinical, digital workflow, technical and vendor resources for complex customer opportunities
Ability to develop dashboards, KPIs, budgets and performance reports
Ability to collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Finance, Marketing, sales leadership and specialist teams
