About the role
- Senior test engineer leading aerospace test application design, development, and program management at Honeywell Aerospace. Coordinating customer requirements, technical plans, risks, reviews, and production introduction.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate design and development activities within the test functions to address customer requirements
- Manage the program plan, including scope, schedule, cost, technical aspects, resources, and risks
- Establish and maintain detailed technical plans, estimates, and schedules
- Lead solution definition from requirements definition through design, development, validation and verification, and introduction to production
- Track and report program progress, costs, risks, and milestones
- Lead internal and external design reviews and technical coordination meetings
- Ensure compliance with Aerospace Engineering Processes
- Lead proposal preparations and act as a proposal focal within the Test function
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering-Electronics
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in electronics in an aerospace environment or transportation industry
- Minimum of 3 years in project management, including baseline management, earned value reporting, and computer-based scheduling and reporting tools
- Experience with Test Engineering Design Processes
- Proven track record in developing test software and hardware
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use data to make intelligent decisions
- Working knowledge of DO-160 and MIL-810
- PMP Certificate (Project Management Professional) valued
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills in a global team environment
- Attention to detail
- Experience with Agile methodology project execution is a plus
- Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance
