About the role

  • Insurance Advisor supporting commercial real estate accounts for BC’s largest insurance broker. Servicing clients, managing documentation, reconciliations and policy transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer experience working with Production teams
  • Demonstrate good technical insurance knowledge
  • Adhere to HUB Service Guidelines
  • Support Account Executive/Account Manager (Producer) and Marketer with all aspects of servicing accounts
  • Respond to customer requests within license authority
  • Act as primary customer service contact in the absence of Producer
  • Attend Critical Path meetings and complete assigned action items within specified timeframes
  • Process documentation and transactions according to HUB workflows
  • Review and manage account reconciliation with Accounting, Producer and Client
  • Review and prioritize assigned daily tasks including mail, emails, abeyances and activities
  • Provide Accounts Receivable support to Producer for payment reminder letters
  • Maintain accuracy of electronic files
  • Review and ensure accuracy of policy documentation from insurers
  • Continue professional development to enhance skills and technical knowledge
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Level 2 General Insurance License
  • 2-5 years of insurance experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong business acumen and organizational skills
  • Intermediate MS Office knowledge, with focus on Excel and Word
  • Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience
