About the role
- Auto insurance retention associate advising HUB clients by phone. Handling renewals, retention calls, payments, and ICBC/private insurance sales.
Responsibilities
- Advise new and existing clients by phone on automobile insurance and asset protection
- Build relationships with clients, colleagues and leaders to deliver a best-in-class client experience
- Provide auto insurance services including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations and debt payments
- Offer ICBC and private insurance products over the phone
- Document client conversations
- Place outbound retention calls and focus on call-to-sale conversion
- Manage inbound call volume efficiently
- Upsell and cross-sell insurance products from other departments
- Meet sales targets and telephone metrics
- Receive and process payments according to company policy
- Use ICBC Policy Centre, BMS EPIC and other software solutions
- Perform administrative duties such as preparing documents and filing
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of auto insurance experience is required
- Strong conversation skills
- Detail oriented
- Computer systems proficiency
- High school education or equivalent
- Level 1 Insurance License required
- Customer service and/or call center experience an asset
- Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Successful background check required
