About the role
- Accounting Technician handling banking follow-ups, reconciliations, and Oracle ERP transactions. Supporting iA Financial Group’s insurance, savings, and wealth-management operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform banking and treasury follow-ups, including bank reconciliations, discrepancy investigations, outstanding-item follow-up, and timely resolution
- Own bank and other operating-account reconciliations, document analyses, and maintain clear audit trails
- Record transactions in Oracle ERP, including month-end, adjustment, and reclassification journal entries
- Execute defined internal controls, identify anomalies, and escalate situations requiring deeper analysis
- Prepare supporting documentation, respond to questions, and produce reconciliations for external audits, regulatory requests, and internal requests
Requirements
- Strong rigor and sense of accountability
- Curiosity and ability to challenge existing ways of doing things with a solution-oriented mindset
- 2 years of experience in operational accounting
- College diploma in accounting or administration
