About the role

Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret data for customer segmentation, claims trends, and other business challenges
- Contribute to dashboards and user-friendly tools supporting strategic decision-making
- Deliver analyses aligned with departmental objectives and present findings to management
- Develop and implement predictive models for risk modeling, trend forecasting, and customer behavior analysis
- Apply machine learning algorithms and statistical methods to extract insights
- Explore and process large datasets to identify improvement and innovation opportunities
- Collaborate with mentors, subject matter experts, and team members on group insurance challenges and analytical processes
- Learn deployment and productionization of analytical models with internal teams
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Analytical skills and ability to solve business problems
- Team spirit and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Strong interest in programming; Python is considered an asset
- Curiosity, learning agility, and ability to deliver results efficiently
- Intermediate English proficiency required for consulting and using English-language documentation with team members in daily responsibilities
- Advanced French proficiency
