About the role

  • IT delivery manager leading Systems & Integration modernization for iA Financial Group’s insurance business. Improving DevOps, release cadence, production reliability, and multidisciplinary team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Define, communicate, and evolve the vision of the Systems & Integration team in alignment with Individual Insurance strategic priorities
  • Lead, engage, and develop a multidisciplinary team of internal and external resources in software development, DevOps, application support, and solution delivery
  • Ensure accountability for solution delivery, service quality, and overall team performance
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration and deployment practices
  • Establish and coordinate the ecosystem release calendar while managing dependencies and environments
  • Define and evolve delivery engineering standards, including test automation, configuration management, branching strategies, and rollback mechanisms
  • Ensure reliability of production assets through observability, application health monitoring, incident management, and automation
  • Establish and monitor delivery performance metrics, including Lead Time, Deployment Frequency, Change Failure Rate, and MTTR, and report progress to leadership
  • Oversee the long-term health, evolution roadmap, and proactive management of IT assets and technical debt
  • Promote responsible use of artificial intelligence in software development, quality assurance, technical documentation, and incident analysis
  • Partner with business units on tactical and operational matters while managing issues and technical escalations
  • Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop team members and contribute to technical competency assessments

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in IT and management, including at least 3 years managing software development teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another equivalent discipline
  • Previous experience as a Software Developer, Technical Lead, or Architect
  • Inspiring leadership and influence
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, modern software engineering, and large-scale delivery challenges
  • Ability to navigate complexity, set priorities, and make data-driven decisions
  • Initiative and operational rigor
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams including developers, architects, quality assurance specialists, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps or Jira, Git, CI/CD pipelines, code quality tools, and monitoring and observability solutions
  • Certifications such as SAFe, DevOps, AWS, Azure, or ITIL are an asset
  • Intermediate level of English, spoken and written, for weekly communication with English-speaking external vendors
  • Advanced level of French, spoken and written
