About the role
- Senior Project Manager leading complex strategic initiatives for iA Financial Group, a Canadian insurance and financial services company. Driving organizational performance, risk management, and cross-functional decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead medium- and large-scale strategic initiatives aimed at improving organizational performance and supporting growth
- Plan and oversee initiatives, ensuring objectives, expected benefits, and desired results are achieved
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies affecting delivery
- Prepare analyses, recommendations, and progress reports to support decision-making
- Evaluate organizational impacts and alignment with strategic and operational priorities
- Partner with leaders and teams to understand business challenges, clarify requirements, assess options, and recommend solutions
- Develop understanding of operations, processes, and business issues to ensure relevant and effective solutions
- Analyze complex situations, identify root causes, remove roadblocks, advance initiatives, and improve project management practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of experience leading projects or complex initiatives
- Strong business acumen and interest in operations, processes, and organizational challenges
- Enterprise-wide perspective and ability to assess impacts beyond the immediate area of responsibility
- Leadership ability to engage, influence, and build alignment among stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to bring together different viewpoints and facilitate decision-making in complex environments
- Sound judgment and autonomy
- Comfort making decisions in ambiguous situations
- Excellent French communication skills, both written and verbal
- PMP, PMI-ACP, PSM I, or CSM certification is an asset
- Experience in the property and casualty insurance industry is an asset
