About the role

  • Commercial Project & Sales Coordinator supporting Ideal Siding’s commercial renovation franchisees across Canada and the US. Managing estimates, bids, project coordination, and contractor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and provide feedback on commercial estimates, takeoffs, scopes, and proposals
  • Support franchisees from bid stage to signed contract, including RFIs, clarifications, value engineering, and bid positioning
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation to identify risks, gaps, or missing details
  • Help franchisees strengthen pricing strategy, proposal quality, and overall bid competitiveness
  • Act as a key support resource for franchisees pursuing commercial opportunities
  • Help franchisees prepare for and navigate conversations with general contractors, property managers, developers, consultants, and commercial clients
  • Join client or project calls when needed to support scope alignment, communication, and next steps
  • Support follow-up on active bids and help keep commercial opportunities moving forward
  • Help franchisees build stronger commercial relationships that lead to repeat business
  • Support outbound commercial growth initiatives with the Commercial Division team
  • Identify new opportunities, upsell potential, and cross-scope opportunities within active projects
  • Help improve estimating standards, proposal templates, sales processes, training materials, and commercial workflows
  • Provide operational support as the Commercial Division continues to grow

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial construction, estimating, project coordination, subcontractor operations, business development, or commercial sales support
  • Experience working with general contractors, developers, property managers, or commercial clients
  • Strong understanding of the commercial project lifecycle, from bid stage to contract
  • Comfortable reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work, contracts, and project documentation
  • Understanding of how general contractors evaluate subcontractors and how commercial relationships are built
  • Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple active opportunities while staying detail-oriented and responsive
  • Exterior envelope, siding, cladding, or building envelope experience is a strong asset
  • Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar takeoff software is an asset
  • Must describe current authorization to work in Canada, including conditions or expiry dates affecting full-time ongoing work
  • Must be located in the Metro Vancouver area or be able and willing to commute, or be relocating soon and able to commute
