About the role
- Financial Analyst optimizing cost accounting, transfer pricing, and plant performance for IKO, a Canadian roofing and building-materials manufacturer. Supporting budgets, forecasts, inventory control, and profitability reporting across 22 facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update product standard costs across all 22 manufacturing facilities.
- Oversee standard inventory valuation, obsolescence reserves, and annual physical inventory counts.
- Audit Bills of Materials (BOM) and routing configurations to ensure accurate product costing.
- Update, maintain, and audit intercompany transfer pricing across the 22-plant network.
- Ensure alignment of transfer prices between shipping and receiving plants within ERP systems.
- Document transfer pricing methodologies to support corporate tax and internal compliance rules.
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards to rank and compare plant efficiency and profitability.
- Assist Senior Financial Analysts with annual operational budgets and monthly rolling forecasts.
- Analyze product line and plant-specific margins to guide corporate pricing strategies.
- Drive financial performance monitoring and manufacturing cost optimization across 22 production plants.
- Manage intercompany transfer pricing review and streamline financial workflows across all facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of cost accounting or financial analysis experience within manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience working within JDE ERP platform.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to visit multi-state plant operations.
- CMA, CPA, or CFA designation is highly preferred.
- Building materials or roofing industry experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Power BI and Reports Now is an asset.
