About the role

  • Product leader driving Innovasea’s aquaculture technology strategy, roadmaps, and launches. Improving fish health, operational efficiency, and sustainability through hardware and software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and roadmap for Innovasea’s aquaculture technology portfolio
  • Translate customer needs, market opportunities, and technical capabilities into products improving fish health, operational efficiency, and production outcomes
  • Guide and direct digital strategy
  • Define and prioritize product roadmaps
  • Guide new requirements from concept to launch
  • Lead, plan, and coordinate product activities to ensure delivery goals are met
  • Foster collaboration across company divisions and functions
  • Coordinate with Marketing on go-to-market strategies, supporting collateral, and product training materials for new releases
  • Mentor Product Managers/Product Owners
  • Manage product portfolios across different maturities and technologies
  • Report to the Vice President of Aquaculture Technology

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of product management experience
  • 10+ years leading product organizations responsible for both hardware and software products, including cloud/SaaS platforms, connected devices, and data-driven solutions
  • Experience driving product development through discovery, roadmap planning, development, launch, and post-launch iteration
  • Experience building or transforming Product Management organizations, including team design, governance, roadmap management, and portfolio prioritization
  • Demonstrated success leading complex multi-disciplinary product portfolios spanning engineering, software, operations, and commercialization functions
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, engineering, and software development teams
  • Ability to travel to domestic and international events in the US and Europe as required
  • Experience leading both hardware and software product organizations
  • Experience managing a portfolio of products across different maturities and technologies
  • Experience defining and implementing a product operating model and organizational structure
  • Experience mentoring Product Managers/Product Owners
  • Experience with product strategy, lifecycle management, roadmap governance, and prioritization
  • Nice to have: Experience developing business-to-business internet products and technologies
  • Nice to have: Technical experience with integrated hardware and software products and technologies
  • Nice to have: Experience using Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
  • Nice to have: Understanding of the ecosystem of services and products supporting the aquaculture industry
  • Remote Eastern USA or Canada candidates must be able to travel to Bedford, NS or Boston, MA once a month
