Responsibilities
- Complete a hands-on 24-month rotational program in software development and cloud technologies
- Assist in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions
- Participate in developing and deploying cloud infrastructure and services
- Monitor and optimize application performance in cloud environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on scalable and secure software solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and cloud environment issues
- Stay current with emerging software development and cloud computing trends
- Work alongside Intact’s Digital, Data and Tech experts
- Receive a team placement at the end of the program
- Join the new grad community and work with a mentor
Requirements
- Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Must graduate by May 2027 or have graduated within the past year
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology
- Self-reliant with a strong sense of responsibility
- Knowledge of Java and Spring Framework for backend development
- Understanding of Angular and TypeScript for frontend development
- Understanding of cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of Agile development methods
- Candidates located in Quebec must be bilingual to interact regularly with English-speaking colleagues across Canada
- Must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout employment
