About the role

  • Agent principal supporting administrative operations for Intact, a Canadian insurance company. Preparing claims documents, managing correspondence, and supporting legal files and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various daily administrative tasks, including preparing subrogation documents, entering data, preparing compensation calculations, and more.
  • Manage correspondence and ensure the quality and accuracy of information.
  • Prepare copies of case files for the lawyers assigned to each file.
  • Respond to a variety of requests, including third-party engagement requests.
  • Support projects or new initiatives as requested.

Requirements

  • Administrative Technician diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an office environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage workflow effectively without continuous supervision.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability and willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • No Canadian work experience required; however, candidates must be authorized to work in Canada.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout their employment.
