About the role

  • Senior IT Business Analyst delivering AI and LLM products for Intact, a Canadian insurer. Managing requirements, backlogs, agile ceremonies, and production releases across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive delivery of AI and LLM products
  • Bridge stakeholders, data scientists, and engineering teams through requirements management and release oversight
  • Own the end-to-end documentation lifecycle, including functional and non-functional requirements, global test strategies, and case studies
  • Manage and groom the product backlog, prioritizing and sequencing work against roadmap commitments and release timelines
  • Coordinate software deployments across development, test, staging, and production environments with DevOps and engineering
  • Facilitate go/no-go checkpoints and secure validation, security gating, and approvals
  • Lead production verification, incident triage support, and lessons-learned sessions
  • Liaise across AI Engineering, DevOps, QA, and Product teams for production rollouts
  • Lead agile ceremonies within the engineering team
  • Collaborate with architects on technical designs and security requirements

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in IT as a Business Analyst
  • Minimum 2 years in a Senior Business Analyst or Product Owner role within AI product development or highly mature agile environments
  • Strong foundational knowledge in AI, Data Science, and LLM applications
  • Deep understanding of technical aspects of design and development
  • Expert command of Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, related field, or equivalent education and experience
  • CBAP, CSPO, or CPOA certification is an asset
  • Exceptional presentation and workshop facilitation skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Candidates located in Quebec must be bilingual to interact regularly with English-speaking colleagues across Canada
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout employment
  • No Canadian work experience required
