About the role

  • VP leading advanced quantitative research and strategic advisory engagements for Ipsos, a global research and insights company. Advising clients, driving growth, and mentoring research teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of complex research and advisory engagements addressing critical client business challenges
  • Translate client issues and strategic questions into learning agendas, testable hypotheses, and robust research methodologies
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques and methodological best practices
  • Serve as a senior advisor to clients, helping interpret findings, evaluate strategic options, and make informed decisions
  • Lead reports, presentations, workshops, and executive-level recommendations that drive action
  • Collaborate across Ipsos service lines to identify integrated solutions
  • Contribute to proposal development, thought leadership, and business growth
  • Build Ipsos' reputation through subject matter expertise, innovation, thought leadership, and market presence
  • Coach and mentor researchers at all levels
  • Manage and develop researchers and team leaders
  • Oversee complex research programs from hypothesis development through final recommendations
  • Guide methodological decisions and analytical approaches
  • Leverage segmentation, modeling, forecasting, and other analytical approaches
  • Synthesize findings across multiple data sources
  • Lead executive-level reporting and presentations
  • Build and maintain senior-level client relationships
  • Anticipate client needs and recommend research and advisory solutions
  • Influence strategic direction through evidence-based recommendations and thought leadership

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience in market research, insights, consulting, or a related field
  • Deep expertise in quantitative research methodologies and advanced analytical techniques
  • Proven ability to transform complex business questions into actionable research programs and testable hypotheses
  • Strong understanding of research best practices and ability to select, defend, and communicate methodological approaches
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated success advising senior client stakeholders and leading complex engagements
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills connecting data to strategic business decisions
  • Experience coaching and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience contributing to business development and account growth
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience with advanced analytical platforms and statistical software such as SPSS, R, Python, or equivalent
  • Master's degree considered an asset
