Associate Data Analyst analyzing healthcare and pharmaceutical claims for IQVIA, a global healthcare intelligence provider. Validating datasets, identifying trends, and supporting reimbursement and market-access decisions.
Responsibilities
Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to support the development of solutions for internal project teams and external clients
Conduct claims adjudication analyses using healthcare, pharmaceutical, and medical data
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in large healthcare and pharmaceutical market access datasets
Support analysis of payer, reimbursement, healthcare utilization management, and market access data
Develop specifications for reports, dashboards, and analyses based on business requirements
Produce datasets, reports, and ad hoc analyses using IQVIA tools, databases, and reporting platforms
Verify data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and quality
Manipulate, transform, and validate data to optimize analytical outcomes and reporting efficiency
Audit own work and the work of other team members
Use standalone data systems and enterprise platforms for inquiry resolution, claims validation, quality reviews, adjudication analysis, and trend reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on client deliverables, operational reporting, and healthcare analytics initiatives
Present findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements
1–3 years of professional experience in a pharmacy, claims adjudication, or patient support program (PSP) environment
Experience with medical, pharmaceutical, payer, and healthcare claims data
Experience with healthcare claims adjudication datasets, including paid, rejected, reversed claims and reimbursement notices
Required experience analyzing healthcare claims adjudication data
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
Experience with SQL, data validation, reporting, and data quality management is an asset
Knowledge of healthcare, pharmaceutical, payer, healthcare provider, and reimbursement data environments
Knowledge of analytical methods, tools, and techniques applied to healthcare data analysis
Understanding of the healthcare market and pharmaceutical industry, including treatment access and reimbursement dynamics
Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, business administration, health informatics, life sciences, or a related field preferred
