About the role

  • Key Account Manager managing high-value accounts for Jobber, a small-business home-services software company. Driving retention, payment volume, upsells, and customer lifetime value.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 300 high-value accounts
  • Retain customers and prevent churn
  • Grow Gross Payment Volume through Jobber Payments
  • Upsell plan upgrades and add-ons
  • Build deep, consultative relationships with key clients
  • Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize customers' use of Jobber products and payment services
  • Guide customers toward action through live problem-solving calls
  • Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Increase customer lifetime value
  • Collaborate with product, risk, and support departments
  • Provide customer-driven feedback to the product team
  • Develop best practices and processes for Key Account Management
  • Mentor and coach team members
  • Report to the Manager, Key Account Management

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in account management, customer success, or sales in a B2B software environment
  • Fintech experience preferred
  • Proven track record of exceeding 100% of revenue targets for the last 6+ months
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Client-focused consultative mindset
  • Proficiency with the Challenger Sales methodology
  • Familiarity with Jobber's products and services
  • Experience working with or in the home services industry is nice to have
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must successfully complete a background check
  • Must be based in Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo
  • Must attend the office at least 1 day per week according to the department schedule
