About the role
- Développeur Salesforce principal chez Journey Capital, fintech canadienne de prêt en ligne. Développement d’Apex, LWC, intégrations et solutions Sales Cloud évolutives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Refactor existing code and implement scalable solutions based on OOP, SOLID, and Clean Code principles
- Design and implement unit tests
- Develop and maintain SOQL queries while optimizing performance and concurrency
- Create and maintain Salesforce integrations with internal and external systems using HTTP/REST and SOAP
- Use Git, pull requests, and a structured development workflow
- Manage and deploy changes using Visual Studio Code and Salesforce DX
- Configure and customize Salesforce administration settings, including security, profiles, and permission sets
- Use GoF design patterns to create scalable and reusable components
- Support Sales Cloud enhancements and collaborate on Experience Cloud projects
- Collaborate with operational and technical teams to improve the functionality, integrations, efficiency, scalability, and maintainability of the Salesforce environment
Requirements
- Strong experience developing Apex applications, including triggers, asynchronous processing, and batch jobs
- Hands-on expertise with Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
- Proficiency in Salesforce integrations, including REST, SOAP, and event-driven software architecture
- Experience with version control (Git), pull requests, and collaborative development workflows
- Knowledge of Salesforce administration, including security, permissions, and configuration
- Excellent understanding of OOP, SOLID, and Clean Code principles
- Ability to optimize SOQL queries with consideration for concurrency and performance
- Working knowledge of Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud
- Proficiency in Salesforce unit testing
- Scratch Orgs / package-based development model
- Account Engagement (Pardot)
- Apex Enterprise Patterns
- TDD / FDD
- Java 8 and/or later versions
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset
- Salesforce certifications
- Excellent communication skills in French and English
- Proficiency in a language other than French is required for the position
