Workday Adaptive Planning Manager leading Kainos implementations for budgeting, forecasting and reporting transformation. Managing consultants, client delivery, Adaptive Planning models and team development.
Responsibilities
Lead a delivery team responsible for Workday Adaptive Planning implementations for customers across industries
Act as a Senior Adaptive Planning consultant on implementation projects
Work with clients to understand planning processes and transition legacy models into Adaptive Planning
Recommend solutions based on client requirements, budget and timeframe
Guide facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions using best practices
Develop and configure forecasting and planning models in Adaptive Planning
Plan and conduct user training sessions
Document planning models and reporting delivered to clients
Deliver engagements on time and within budget
Communicate with customers and internal project teams to ensure customer success
Provide customer service and act as the resource for project-related inquiries
Set and align team goals with Kainos company goals
Provide regular constructive feedback and review performance
Manage staffing and onboarding of new team members
Mentor junior consultants and act as a role model
Monitor team utilization, workload forecasting, staff allocations and timesheets
Participate in recruitment and interviews
Collaborate internally to share learnings and solve problems
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or Business required
10+ years’ experience in accounting/financial management, particularly budgeting, planning and management reporting (preferred)
2–4 years’ experience implementing at least one Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system, such as Adaptive Planning, Host Analytics, Anaplan or Oracle Hyperion (preferred)
Advanced or expert proficiency in Excel, particularly designing and building complex financial planning models
Experience as a people manager
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Aptitude for learning new technologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Organized, thorough and process-driven
Previous consulting experience is ideal
Maintain proficiency and certification in the Adaptive Planning application
