About the role

Director of Manufacturing leading Kardium's manufacturing operations in Burnaby, BC. Engaging employees for operational excellence and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

Provide senior level strategic leadership and oversight for all Kardium manufacturing sites.
Engage and motivate employees and build a high-performance culture.
Ensure Kartium meets or exceeds delivery commitments to customers.
Direct and mentor the team of Plant or Senior Manufacturing Managers.
Develop long range operating plans and strategies to achieve Kardium’s production growth.
Drive continuous improvement programs across all manufacturing sites.
Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical field
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior manufacturing or operations leadership role
Proven experience scaling manufacturing from low to high commercial volumes
Demonstrated success implementing continuous improvement and operational scaling strategies
Previous experience in ISO13485 or AS9100 regulated industries is strongly preferred
Experience managing a cleanroom manufacturing environment is an asset
Experience developing workforce training and capability programs for production teams
Excellent analytic, strategic thinking, and operational planning skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Adept at building strong, collaborative relationships at all levels.
