About the role
- Product Manager improving developer evaluations and SDK, CLI, console, and docs experiences. Helping Keycard deliver secure identity infrastructure for agent-native applications.
Responsibilities
- Own the evaluation journey from first touch through first credential exchange to a production decision
- Define and measure evaluation stages, milestones, and metrics
- Set evaluation milestones and metrics for product, engineering, and go-to-market reporting
- Own the developer experience across SDK quickstarts, CLI onboarding, console setup, documentation, and template repositories
- Reduce time-to-first-credential-exchange
- Represent developer ergonomics in API and CLI design discussions
- Turn field-engineering walkthroughs into self-guided evaluation paths, guides, reference architectures, and in-product guidance
- Run experiments and discontinue ineffective ones
- Incorporate evaluator and enterprise design-partner feedback into the roadmap
- Collaborate with DevRel and marketing on how evaluations begin
- Collaborate with sales and field engineering on when self-guided evaluations require human support
- Watch onboarding sessions, attend field-engineering walkthroughs, review support threads, and investigate evaluation drop-off
- Help build Keycard’s identity and access infrastructure for agent-native applications
Requirements
- Experience as a PM on a developer product where evaluation and adoption were key metrics, such as dev tools, infrastructure, API platforms, or security
- Technical enough to work credibly with engineers
- Ability to read an SDK quickstart and identify developer drop-off points
- Ability to follow API design discussions
- Ability to pull numbers using SQL or an analytics tool
- Strong developer-experience judgment, including CLI usability, error messages, defaults, and documentation structure
- Builds with AI tools and follows the agent ecosystem closely
- Instrumentation-first approach to product decisions
- Comfortable working in a category with no established playbook
- Clear writing skills for documentation, problem statements, and experiment readouts
- Engineering background before product is a strong-candidate advantage
- Experience productizing high-touch motions is a strong-candidate advantage
- Familiarity with OAuth, OIDC, token exchange, delegation, MCP, or A2A is a strong-candidate advantage
- Experience with product analytics, experimentation frameworks, or lifecycle messaging is a strong-candidate advantage
- Experience shipping docs, quickstarts, or templates used by developers is a strong-candidate advantage
- Authorization to work in the United States or Canada
