Heavy Equipment Operator managing machinery operations for civil construction projects in Port Alberni. Ensuring safety protocols while collaborating with the team in various construction tasks.

Responsibilities

Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
3+ years’ heavy equipment operating experience in civil construction and municipal upgrade projects
Professional demeanor when dealing with the public, crew, and client
Able to work outside in all-weather at all times of the year
Minimum three years’ experience in civil construction
Ability to work as a team as well as independently when required
Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds or more
Ability to take and follow instruction
Able to do extensive physical labour
Valid provincial driver’s license
