Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact research across multiple product areas
  • Support product strategy and roadmap decisions
  • Define strong research questions and determine the right methods
  • Use a range of methods such as in-depth interviews and usability studies
  • Synthesize findings into clear narratives, actionable insights, frameworks, and recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, engineers, data partners, and product marketers
  • Build the foundations of a scalable research practice
  • Improve research operations and participant recruitment
  • Mentor designers, product managers, and other cross-functional partners
  • Explore how AI-powered tools can accelerate research workflows

Requirements

  • Significant experience in product research for consumer-facing digital products
  • Operated at a staff or senior-leadership IC level
  • Excellent at framing messy problems and identifying what needs to be learned
  • Deeply skilled in qualitative research and comfortable combining it with quantitative inputs
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively, adapting storytelling to different audiences
  • Highly collaborative and know how to build trust across disciplines
  • Care about craft and improve how research happens around you
  • Energized by building structure where it does not yet exist
  • Comfortable using modern AI tools responsibly
