About the role
- Business Operations Principal scaling Kraken’s crypto trading platform. Driving cross-functional initiatives, operating rhythms, KPI insights, and product improvements across Pro.
Responsibilities
- Build operating rhythms, reviews, and forums that keep the Pro organization aligned and focused on priorities
- Lead and deliver cross-functional projects critical to Pro’s success
- Support leadership decision-making by framing issues, tracking KPIs, and surfacing gaps or risks early
- Maintain systems for reporting, business reviews, roadmap coordination, and cross-team initiatives
- Partner with leadership to scope and launch initiatives in Spot, Margin, Derivatives, or Infrastructure from concept through initial execution
- Create executive updates, all-hands materials, and strategic memos
- Act as the first-line intake for inbound requests, triage them, and ensure follow-through
- Identify operational bottlenecks and propose scalable improvements
- Use business intelligence and data to support product managers and leadership across Pro
- Partner with Compliance and Legal to improve product experience
Requirements
- 5–7 years in BizOps, Product Ops, Strategy, Consulting, or similar high-leverage roles with measurable impact
- Strong project management skills and ability to bring structure to ambiguity
- Ability to interpret dashboards, KPIs, and financial/operational metrics
- Excellent communication skills adaptable across executives and cross-functional individual contributors
- Highly organized, detail-driven, and execution-oriented
- Self-starter able to create a roadmap when one does not exist
- Experience collaborating across product, engineering, compliance, legal, finance, and marketing
- Belief in Kraken’s mission to accelerate financial freedom and inclusion through crypto
- Ability to work from one of the listed eligible countries: United Kingdom, Brazil, Ireland, Cyprus, Portugal, Canada, or Poland
