About the role

  • Associate Director guiding Kyndryl's cloud consulting and transformation sales. Advising executives on multi-cloud strategy, modernization, governance, and delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive cloud consulting and transformation opportunities from origination through closure
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned to client business objectives
  • Achieve assigned sales, pipeline, signings, and revenue targets
  • Identify opportunities across cloud migration, modernization, AI enablement, application transformation, infrastructure modernization, FinOps, and managed services
  • Support RFI/RFP responses, client presentations, proposal development, and deal shaping
  • Build executive relationships positioning Kyndryl as a trusted transformation partner
  • Lead discovery workshops and executive strategy sessions
  • Translate business requirements into cloud transformation roadmaps and solution strategies
  • Collaborate with architects, SMEs, delivery teams, and partners to develop differentiated solutions
  • Define solution scope, assumptions, risks, pricing, and Statements of Work
  • Articulate business value, ROI, TCO, modernization benefits, and transformation outcomes
  • Present cloud strategies and recommendations to executive stakeholders
  • Advise CIO, CTO, COO, CFO, and line-of-business executives
  • Guide customers on cloud operating models, governance, organizational transformation, and modernization
  • Provide strategic guidance on multi-cloud adoption, cloud economics, security, resilience, and compliance
  • Lead executive workshops focused on business transformation and innovation
  • Provide executive oversight of consulting and cloud transformation engagements
  • Ensure projects align with business outcomes, scope, timelines, and financial objectives
  • Manage risks and escalations with delivery leaders and project managers
  • Participate in governance forums, steering committees, and executive reviews
  • Support transitions from pre-sales to delivery while maintaining client satisfaction
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to delivery best practices
  • Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, methodologies, and points of view
  • Mentor consultants, architects, and technical specialists
  • Represent Kyndryl at industry events, customer forums, analyst discussions, and partner engagements
  • Maintain relationships with Microsoft, AWS, and Google Cloud partners

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, cloud transformation, solution advisory, or enterprise architecture
  • Proven track record in technical pre-sales and client delivery leadership
  • Demonstrated success managing and achieving revenue, signings, or business development targets
  • Experience leading large-scale cloud migration, modernization, or transformation programmes
  • Strong executive stakeholder engagement experience, including CXO-level interactions
  • Professional-level certification in at least one hyperscaler platform: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect
  • Strong understanding of multi-cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Strong consultative selling and business development capabilities
  • Executive communication and presentation skills
  • Commercial acumen, including business cases, ROI/TCO analyses, and value propositions
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • MBA or Master's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related discipline preferred
  • Additional certifications in Cloud Architecture, FinOps, DevSecOps, ITIL, TOGAF, Agile/Scrum, or Security & Compliance preferred
  • Experience within a global consulting or systems integration organisation preferred
  • Experience across Financial Services, Public Sector, Retail, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, or Healthcare sectors preferred
