Shipper/Receiver managing incoming and outgoing mining parts shipments for Liebherr-Canada. Supporting warehouse, Parts, Service, Warranty, and remanufacturing operations in Sparwood.
Responsibilities
Support the efficient flow of incoming and outgoing shipments for the Mining project with Elk Valley Resources
Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Parts and Service departments
Receive, process, prepare, and ship orders
Load, unload, package, and store materials
Process transfer orders, purchase orders, and delivery documentation
Prepare shipments and create labels
Contact shipping companies and arrange pickups or deliveries
Maintain location lists and perform inventory checks
File paperwork and maintain organization
Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe
Perform daily cycle counts
Work with component and remanufacturing departments on warehouse and parts activities
Process parts returns from customers and field personnel
Organize warehouse locations to improve flow
Identify daily priorities in shipping and receiving areas
Review stock-outs and purchase orders to identify ordering patterns
Track misses and possible sales opportunities
Check the warehouse for empty spaces and improvement opportunities
Perform weekly major cleanups
Work with the Warranty team to process items for shipping
Process cores for storage, packaging, and shipment back to the factory
Perform additional duties as requested
Requirements
Experienced technicians are sought
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, with ability to work alone and unsupervised for extended periods
Ability to work with computers and Microsoft Office suite
Able to repeatedly walk up stairs and remain on feet for most of the day
Organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-changing environment
Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs
Ability to work a 14-days-on / 14-days-off schedule
Availability for day and night rotation shifts
