About the role

  • Shipper/Receiver supporting Liebherr’s mining equipment parts and service operations in Sparwood, Canada. Managing shipments, inventory, warehouse organization, and parts-related documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the efficient flow of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Receive, process, prepare, and ship orders
  • Load, unload, package, and store materials
  • Process transfer orders, purchase orders, and delivery documentation
  • Prepare shipments and create labels
  • Contact shipping companies and arrange pickup or delivery
  • Maintain location lists and conduct inventory checks
  • File paperwork and keep records organized
  • Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe
  • Perform daily cycle counts
  • Support component, remanufacturing, parts, service, and warranty activities
  • Process parts returns from customers and field
  • Organize warehouse locations to improve flow
  • Identify daily priorities in shipping and receiving areas
  • Review stock-outs and purchase orders to identify ordering patterns and sales opportunities
  • Inspect empty warehouse spaces and identify improvement opportunities
  • Perform weekly major cleanups
  • Process cores for storage, packaging, and shipment back to the factory
  • Perform additional duties as requested

Requirements

  • Experienced technicians preferred for the mining project
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work alone and unsupervised for extended periods
  • Ability to work with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to repeatedly walk up stairs and remain on feet for most of the day
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-changing environment
  • Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Ability to work a 14-days-on / 14-days-off schedule with day and night rotation shifts
